Commonwealth Development Group, Inc. (CDG) is searching for talented personal with experience in managing construction and real estate projects of all shapes and sizes, with an emphasis on finance.  As an owner representative firm, CDG if responsible for all aspects of project development, from guiding a conceptual design and budget to completion of construction and financial closeout.  As a project manager for CDG you will be the lead person for all financial aspects of the project(s) and the creator / presenter of regularly updated reports.

Responsibilities for this position include:

• Help draft, update and present project budgets
  • This may include sub-tier budgets and financial tracking sheets
• Assist with preliminary budgeting formats for project(s)
• Work alongside financial specialist & personnel designated by the client
• Monitor work in place as related to Construction Manager & subcontractor invoicing
• Create and update cashflow sheets for client use
• Review consultant invoices, contractor pay applications and draft CDG progressive invoices

What we are looking for in a project manager:

• 3 or more years of experience in the construction industry or project management
• Strong technology background (specifically with Microsoft; Word, Excel and Powerpoint)
• Willingness to do light travelling within Middle TN
• Ability to communicate with internal staff, project team members and clients
• Creative thinking with solid written and verbal communication skills
